Mate, I usually don't dictate your orders, but since M-Metagross has Tough Claws and therefore ignores Defense Boosts, Arbok would be better off leading with Acid Spray to cripple the leafy monarch's STR, and then try to break through it with Gunk Shot. Would you rather have the snake do that instead?
