Hey, it was a good idea on their part, and it ends up helping EVERYONE out with minimum fuss, so I just decided to allow it! I want to reward creativity and cooperation in and out of the game, so when I saw that idea, I thought 'Hey, that's pretty great, so why the heck not?'

Arial wouldn't be grumpy about Riza being 're-assigned' to another duty, especially since the alternative course of action has guaranteed benefits unlike his original plan. Of course, giving him a Razor Fang for his trouble would make him all the happier too, which in the short run makes for less friction between the two characters, so getting it for him regardless is still a good idea!
