Electric, Ground, and Grass types take no damage/minimal from that Terrain Combo if I recall correctly, and Flying/Levitating types are entirely immune since they don't make contact with the ground, so it isn't TOTALLY unusable. Just takes the right setup and careful management, really!

*stares at Reiner's list available pokemon*

Ah yes, a whole four of Reiner's pokemon work spectacularly with that combination.  

- Raijin, who has to seriously worry about Rads
- Adam, who will be extra Pained in the Rain despite losing her weakness to Fire
- Rhyxemplar, who doesn't really benefit at all from either field condition
- Mew, who has to use Reflect Type or Transform to even work with this combo at all

No Flying types (unless Yang evolves) or Levitate users in his ranks.

Yang as is still at least resists the Electric damage and benefits from both field effects though, I guess?  Ridia resists it too, but no real benefit for her other than that atm.

Yup, great combo.

...and we'd have to worry about tazing the human characters, too.  Extra fun.

- Baltazar would have difficult against the Terrain and Nuc attacks... unless he could use Magnetic Rise. Since it's a move who make a Pokemon have abilities to become imune to Ground attacks like Flying/Levitate users, in theory this would make him Levitate from the Ground to not be affected by the Eletric Trap. At least this is what I think.

The Eletric Terrain would be a Trigger for Arial ability masoquist...but considerably last battle of nucmons I prefer to refrain myself from suicidal tactics.

Yes, Magnet Rise would get Baltazar off the ground and away from ET (Telekinesis does too).  The catch is that airborne stuff can't benefit from any of a Terrain's effects.  Baltazar doesn't really benefit from either of the field effects, though.  He is also at least resistant to rads though, unlike Raijin.

Personally, I'd prefer exploring other potential combos first.

Hmm there is one I been thinking: What if, Baltazar and Airmid use Wide Guard? Sure, Wide Guard its not so much as Protect, but it is a spread move, and could potential Shield us against a swarm of attacks. I know stats move dont stack to each other (like Bulk Up+Infuriate), but Wide Guard dont raise status. Its only a temporally shield to protect against certain moves. Its a protect against 3 Dice Damage. If two get activadaded = 6 Damage Negated. I call this combo as Great Shield.

Even if not permitted to be use it, maybe they could be use as a shield wave. Per example: Airmid use Wide Guard and protect us against nuc attacks. She cant do anything anymore since she already have use her action to make the Wide Guard and she target to a attack. But Baltazar use Wide Guard too and protect her from possible dangerous damage. That way, we can make a barrage of Shields one after other. I call this combo as Sparta Wall (Since Sparthans have a strategy to make a wall of shields to protect each other companion and use the lance to kill any fool who try to break that formation).

This could open a vast possibilities of attack and defense. If I recall, Weavile have a multi-attack move I dont recall the name now. Thats make him a vulnerable target to attack since its a all or nothing attack. With the combination of Double Wide Guard, Weavile would be protect from bigger attacks, and make him stay alive. I call this strategy Ice Age Wall. 

Another combination I been thinking: Wide Guard (Baltazar) + Double Helping Hand (Airmid and Poe) + Draco Meteor (Kingdra). Draco Meteor have the side effect of reduce strengh of the user, but if we could counter attack that disavatange with a move raise strengh and accuracy, that could counter at least a little the reducing strengh, and make Draco Meteor even hit more hard to cause critical hits. And Wide would serve as a protection to Airmid and Poe, even more for Poe since he have Reaper Cloth who already offer a defense. I call this strategy the Shooting Star Fall.

Anyway, there is a plenty of strategies to use it. Any confirmation if Wide Guard can stack with each other to protect against more heavy damage or not @Lord Windos?
