Aww...thats a shame to learn Gengar have refuse the offer...been in a difficult battle just for Super Potion and Anti-radiation items its cool but have another pokemon in the party would be cool. Imagine the situations those two could get. I think Gengar should join Arial party.

Mate, that Gengar only exists because its former self, a human National Guardsman, died a tremendously violent, agonizing death AND ended up utterly scorning + hating the entire world enough at that point to curse it with all with all his heart and SOUL. A SOUL that is able to self resurrect as a Ghost type/Revenant is not the sort of Pokémon a Trainer can or SHOULD normally own, as its usually a tragedy/disaster WAITING TO HAPPEN. To say nothing of the fact that Gengar boldly declared it wants to do BAD THINGS to Arial if they win the duel....why WOULD Arial want to take such a being in with open arms?
