Not sure why the horse get it, but if the Chimchar line is based partially on the legend of Sun Wukong, then a reason why the line learns it could be an obscure reference to the fact that its inspiration was forced to 'assist' a monk as they traveled. Its a tenuous, loose connection at best, but its an explanation none the less!

Well, I suppose that's kinda in line with the move's Japanese name being able to be (eventually) linked to the phrase 'I could use all the help I can get'.

Still doesn't explain the horse, though.  Ah well!  Let's just say it's 'cuz they're magical unicorns!
