Question: shouldn't the 5% Rad resistance apply to both Radioacids which KOed Kingdra?  And is it applied before or after halving/doubling the accumulated Rads?

 Though I do have to ask: have you told Spirit about the new move ideas ya had yet?

They should! Yet another change I will have to make, gah! Rad Resistance is calc. as Rads from a Move is incoming (IE: On hit), not when its being added to the Rad Total or when Radiation Poison/Badly Irradiated adds Rads straight to the Pokémon (No Saves against that!) .

Nope! Mostly because he doesn't have access to them, so I didn't feel it was necessary to tell him and then get him hyped for nothing.
