Azumarill, being aside from Terra the other one who was still standing, made a U-Turn over to her Master as if she silently called the blue fae rabbit, and presumed to chirp at her in a comforting tone when the first toneless sob came. Master wasn't crying though from the looks of it but 'only' had to take off glasses and rub her wet eyes with an arm, causing Azu to console her harder via placing a summoned red rose behind her ear and pulling of a 50$-coin from there in the same movement to hand it to her with a sadness in her face.

It's not enough to cause Shiva trauma in the means of Nidoking-Incident or being caught in the world of DeltaHoundour, but it doesn't help her at all in learning to accept fainting of known and liked Pokemon. More like the opposite, the SHOCKING sight of the aftermath of that Explosion is something that she won't be able to forget for a while. My, Terra, you somewhat messed up here, I'm sorry for that. :C

"....I have chosen my next Pokémon, and are ready to continue our battle. ...Are you too, Shiva?"

These words reach her a little deafed and weak, but the DID make their way to her at last and she responds with another light sob at first while her eyes are still covered with an arm before shaking her head to herself.

Azu hands her her glasses back with a questioning gaze, which she puts back on again, but when facing Terra then, her eyes look away. "I'm okay..... I'm sorry..... I don't want to forfeit..... Just......."

Her expression darkens a lot, becomes pained. "......Just don't do that......again.....ever....."

".....Please."

"...…...I can not promise you that, Shiva." 

Terra calmly intoned those seven words to the heartfelt woman, his expression regretful, solemn....yet utterly resolute.


"Explosion....its is scary, and it is dangerous.....but it is useful too. Many times, it has helped me win battles that were going to be lost, and it has saved me and my other Pokémon from very bad trouble as a....last resort. ….It is also the Move the helped Basteele Evolve, so it holds a special place in both our hearts and minds." 

The rugged wander looked reminiscent as he said this, his eye thoughtful as he gazed back to the past, before he shook his head, returning to reality and continuing.

"....We've trained to use Explosion right and safely for years....but sometimes there are.....accidents. …Like right now. ….But they will not stop me or her from using the Move.  It has its purposes, and I will not refuse them for me or her."


...He looked away from her by this point, now appearing ashamed and uncomfortable.


"…Sorry, but that is my choice. Accept it...or do not. I will understand and accept your choice, no matter what."

With that said, he sends out his next two Pokémon out: Michael the Breloom and Genie the Flygon. I'll leave their reaction until later.
