Azumarill, being aside from Terra the other one who was still standing, made a U-Turn over to her Master as if she silently called the blue fae rabbit, and presumed to chirp at her in a comforting tone when the first toneless sob came. Master wasn't crying though from the looks of it but 'only' had to take off glasses and rub her wet eyes with an arm, causing Azu to console her harder via placing a summoned red rose behind her ear and pulling of a 50$-coin from there in the same movement to hand it to her with a sadness in her face.

It's not enough to cause Shiva trauma in the means of Nidoking-Incident or being caught in the world of DeltaHoundour, but it doesn't help her at all in learning to accept fainting of known and liked Pokemon. More like the opposite, the SHOCKING sight of the aftermath of that Explosion is something that she won't be able to forget for a while. My, Terra, you somewhat messed up here, I'm sorry for that. :C

"....I have chosen my next Pokémon, and are ready to continue our battle. ...Are you too, Shiva?"

These words reach her a little deafed and weak, but the DID make their way to her at last and she responds with another light sob at first while her eyes are still covered with an arm before shaking her head to herself.

Azu hands her her glasses back with a questioning gaze, which she puts back on again, but when facing Terra then, her eyes look away. "I'm okay..... I'm sorry..... I don't want to forfeit..... Just......."

Her expression darkens a lot, becomes pained. "......Just don't do that......again.....ever....."

".....Please."

"...…...I can not promise you that, Shiva." 

Terra calmly intoned those seven words to the heartfelt woman, his expression regretful, solemn....yet utterly resolute.


"Explosion....its is scary, and it is dangerous.....but it is useful too. Many times, it has helped me win battles that were going to be lost, and it has saved me and my other Pokémon from very bad trouble as a....last resort. ….It is also the Move the helped Basteele Evolve, so it holds a special place in both our hearts and minds." 

The rugged wander looked reminiscent as he said this, his eye thoughtful as he gazed back to the past, before he shook his head, returning to reality and continuing.

"....We've trained to use Explosion right and safely for years....but sometimes there are.....accidents. …Like right now. ….But they will not stop me or her from using the Move.  It has its purposes, and I will not refuse them for me or her."


...He looked away from her by this point, now appearing ashamed and uncomfortable.


"…Sorry, but that is my choice. Accept it...or do not. I will understand and accept your choice, no matter what."

With that said, he sends out his next two Pokémon out: Michael the Breloom and Genie the Flygon. I'll leave their reaction until later.

Fine. Shiva remains pretty bitter as he cannot promise that to her, and she staggers as she eventually gets up back to her feet with an eagerly offered helping hand by infamous blue fae rabbit. She also averts her gaze from Terra at first and crosses her arms, partly out of fear and partly out of, well, displeasure. She's not actively trying to appear intimidating or ice-cold however, especially when the wandering monk opens up that he is experienced on the use of that destructive move. Destructive.... That word rings back in her mind and she has to open arms to rub her eyes a last time.

It'd maybe do you well to work on being less prone to shed tears, my dear.

That mild headshake she's giving Terra next probably expresses that she's not too happy about his words as well as how she struggles to accept that, but otherwise she prefers to be silent for now about it to not cause a scene nor talk about this further at this point. That's not what she'd want, and despite she knows that the battle is pretty much over at this point she eventually gives a thankful stroke over the ears for Azu, which accepts it with a melodic chirp and happy smile. Master's so sweet and dear! Get better soon, will you? She gives her a heartfelt cuddle before leaping to face the new foes fighting for Terra: At the sight of an apperant dragon, she takes a stance like 'YOU'LL GO DOWN WITH FAE MAGIC!!!'

Accompanying her now is another Pokemon from Hoenn, a black and grew wolflike one.

He yelps as spikes as sharp as his teeth pirce into his sensitive paws, and avenges that by immediately flattening his body, growling in a dangerously low tone and spreading his Masquerain-like wings, covering the near surrounding in a cloud of dust.

Shiva herself meanwhile appears to be busy mustering the Pokemon Terra send out. Especially that fighting mushroom is arising unexplainable familiar feelings with her and she is quick to count 1 and 1 together, but she seems to be too shy to just ask whether that's indeed her love's Pokemon that he likely gave to him. Hopefully he's doing good without dear Breloom by his side.

Big Flygon however - what an amusing Pokemon to fight against, and so beautiful even!~ She graces the dragonfly with a tiny smile. ^^ (But revealing that that's the hinted Fairy Princess is Terra's job.) "Neat Pokemon you have there. You've already won this fight, but.... ah... just let us bring it to an end then." It's said in a lower voice, she's trying hard to appear fine and better.
