Contrary to what Arial was expecting, that topic change doesn't exactly ease Reiner's mood any.
"...you have got to be @$#% kidding me. You're telling me that you not only somehow soloed a wild, incredibly angry Gyarados, but you also caught it with the expectation that you'd have a chance, however slim, to tame it? Un-@$#%-believable..."
Reiner shakes his head.
"There's only three kinds of trainers that can even hope to control a Gyarados properly, ya know: the most skilled Water specialists, the highest level Dragon Tamers...and the trainers who let their sea serpent do whatever the hell it wants. A normal Gyarados is hard enough for even them to control as it is. A Nuclear one would be nigh impossible to tame!"
He would have asked what the hell Arial was thinking, but the madman kinda already said that, so...he would have also called Arial crazy for doing this...but we all know he already is.
"...alright, fine. Provided we can find a Hazma, and provided you can get that monstrosity out of here, fine, I'll help you. Mostly because I do not want to see or hear about a Nuclear @#$% Gyarados rampaging through some city and turning it into another fallout zone, and I know I'm not going to be able to convince you to leave that swimming time bomb behind."
...well...I guess that was a partial success for Arial? It's probably not what Lindworm was expecting Reiner to say, though...
