Beldum nods, but he does seem a little hesitant. "Fusing a Beldum who's a little dimmer might have an impact on Metang especially, but by the time the conglomeration becomes a Metagross I would think the effects would be negligible."


Pyroar nods, but shoots a nervous glance into the yard where Riolu is reducing yet another tree trunk into splinters.

"That's what I was thinking too.  And I think it'd be a good thing if we gave this Beldum a chance to be even just a little less dim, though."

Nathan looks at his own Beldum.  "And if you're willing to help out with that, Beldum, I think that'd be very admirable of you.  You'll have my full support, before and after evolving.  Together, maybe we can make something amazing out of this, despite the difficulties it will undoubtedly have."

Maybe that will help Beldum be a little more comfortable with the idea.  Maybe.

Nathan looks in Riolu's direction too as it smashes that tree trunk.  "...yeah, I can definitely understand why you'd be nervous around that little fellow.  Despite his size, he's very...zealous...makes me a little nervous, too..."

Some more comforting pets for the fire lion.

"...so, I have a question for you, Pyroar.  You were just left here one day, right?  Is that something that particularly bothers you?"

Beldum looks a little appeased, though of course it's hard to tell.

Pyroar, though, is easy to read. This is obviously a difficult topic for him. He looks very sad. His mane droops. He fidgets one paw against the other and his heat decreases a lot. He makes himself feel a little better by sneering at Beldum.
