Nathan nods.  "Yeah, you're not wrong.  He's the Gallade that keeps popping his head out from behind the door over there.  He's a very gentle soul, though.  Very empathetic, too. He's keeping his distance out of respect for your comfort zone.  He knows it's hard, too.  He won't come any closer if you're not okay with it, I can assure you."

Nathan hugs Pyroar again.

"...it's fine to be wary and uncertain.  We won't pressure you into doing something you're uncomfortable with.  But I'd also like to ask: are you happy with staying here?"

Pyroar gives an ambivalent answer. Given your knowledge of his situation, you figure he likes the humans but is rather stressed by how many Pokemon are always here. Difficult Pokemon, sometimes.
