Nathan sighs and looks Pyroar in the eys again.  "But you'd like to make a friend, right?  Maybe potentially get away from these more difficult pokemon in the Shelter?"

Nathan looks back at Gallade again, then back at Pyroar.

"I'm not sure if you traveling with me would necessarily be a good fit, but I'd still very much like to help you however I can, Pyroar.  Do you think you could try interacting with another pokemon?  Just one to start with.  I think my best friend over there would be more than happy to meet you given how friendly you are.  If you let him, that is.  I can definitely assure you he's not like...that."  *casts a meaningful glance in Riolu's direction, before looking back at Pyroar*  "You don't have to if you don't want to, but...it'll be hard to find yourself a good friend if you close yourself off.  I...speak from experience...and I would very much like to see or hear you've found a good friend one day."

Pyroar shakes his head. Not that Pokemon - not a fighting type. A four-legged friend would be a better risk for him to take.
But he does seem a little swayed by Nathan's persistence.
