The mountain of the man offered some marshmallows to the foxes for their hard work, then departed, heading to the Pokémon Center while fiddling with his Pokedex to send a message to Nathan ('What do I do to make message again....ah!'):

"Nathan, can you meet at the Pokémon Center? Need Gallade's help to Teleport to Stair City to adopt a Rilou at the Disobedience Center Heart told me about. Please?"

Order: Finish things up with the Kimono Girls, and then get Nathan's assistance to Teleport to Stair to obtain Rilou for $1200 Poke! If he agrees, then just automate the Teleport and picking up of the young aura fighter!

Yup, Nathan would have Terra's phone number by now.  I'll assume this text would arrive before Nathan goes to meet Laurelin.

Terra gets a reply back rather quickly.

Sure.  Meet ya there.

Luckily for Terra, Gallade can Teleport them straight to the Shelter since he's been there enough times and it's a rather safe place to Teleport to.  Usually.  And Gallade can Teleport Terra back when he's done, too.

Though before Terra goes, Nathan does ask Terra, "...so, pardon me for asking, but...do you know what a Riolu is?"  Nathan would be happy to explain real quick if Terra doesn't, of course.

Laurelin is making crayon rubbings of various fossils when Nathan arrives. "Ah, hello, Nathan! How many badges do you have now, tell me right away!"

"Four, excellent. That will be more than enough. And you look...fast. I want you to be aware these assignments are too dangerous for someone without a few badges, but I think they'll be perfectly safe for a trainer like you. One assignment complete = one fossil revived. There's no hurry on these quests, so you can fulfill them as you travel, or right away if you want to. And feel free to bring one my interns with you, or whoever."

Professor Laurelin's Quests

Unown Quest
Go to Ancestor Cave in the base of the Great Divide, an hour north of Cress, and catch five different examples of the undersized Unown there. I need them for my research, because traces of their psychic power appear in a lot of fossils. There are also some cool murals there that might be of interest.
Dangers: Solosis-line, Meowth, Eeveelutions, Rock types, Dittos, Unown
Rewards: five Great Balls, 1 Fossil Revivification 


Primal Bulbasaur
People are saying they're seeing a weird Bulbasaur on the western slopes of Mt. Sentry. You'll need a Pokemon that's good at climbing. Anyway, the Bulbasaur's rocky appearance suggests it may be Primal or Delta or something. Or a throwback. Bring it to me unfainted.
Dangers: Rock types, terrain
Rewards: Three Ultra Balls, 1 Fossil Revivification, 1 Mallorn-raised Bulbasaur.

Oversized Pokemon
I can't even tell you about this one until you swear to secrecy, and you must handle it solo. It's nothing illegal though.

Nathan listens attentively as the professor outlines the various missions.  When she gets to the third one...

"I can definitely keep a secret, professor.  Promise."
