Phew...I knew those Wide Guards were a better idea than trying to set up screens...

Pretty much, since they blunted the worst of what the Nuclear Bats could do. Wasn't that bad of an Encounter when you put a lot of planning into overcoming it, eh? 

Yeah, he was having a blast petrifying his foes with gelid coldness!

Also, one more thing to note about the aftermath of the Battle: Frosslad doesn't detransform into its base Form. From what Reiner can guess, the latent Nuclear Energy and the Radiation in its body is sustaining his Mega Evolution beyond normal time limits, perhaps indefinitely so while in the NRF. Of course, this means that you can't Mega Evolve other Pokémon penalty free since Frosslad is currently your perma Mega.
