[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Yena and Raphael are picked up from Nurse Joy, all healed up. With that done and a fresh coffee from the Cafeteria, Shiva looks around in the Lobby, searching for something or someone - Terra's the only one who's present from the look of it.


So, small flashback, @Lord Windos.

She approaches him carefully, gesturing to Vaporeon to please stick by her side and stop giving her that "I WANT TO GO OUTSIDE!"-look, they'll make their way into the rain in a little.

Having arrived at his table, Shiva does gift that man of a mountain a cautious but honest and dear smile. "Well, good morning. Good to see you up already, Terra... Shiranui... Ah, and Riolu! Hello, lil' one!~ Behaving well now that you've been adopted and will journey with a human?" Vaporeon musters that aura-doggie curiously, tries to get a good look on him without getting too close. 'You're blue as well... Are you a Water Type like me?'

Clenching her mug a little harder than usually however, Shiva does bring her attention back to Terra; sporting a somewhat serious expression and overly giving the impression of being nervous. She even looks around once or twice as if being in worry over something. "Terra... May I, eh, take a seat? I, uhm, need to let you know about something, since the others aren't present however I'll contact them via cell or Dex."

She'll also offer checking his Dunsparce Egg with the Egg Checker on her Almanac for gestation process and such, given how he's so accepting she's having no qualms about displaying owning one of these 'PokeDexes'. I guess from the portofoli Terra knows already that she's the daughter of a Professional Breeder and strives to become one herself? If he doesn't, she tells him and lets him know that he can always come to her concerning the caring of Eggs and related things.

Anubi eats some of the oatmeal, enough to get his calories for the morning, then he carefully spreads the rest all over himself and the table.

The Big Hunt

Duskull is very surly and resentful. Whenever he appears before Terra, he thinks it might be Round 2, time for another battle. Terra's Pokemon have to show off their Dark moves right away to keep him in line. It's even a challenge to keep him in line long enough to explain they are going on a hunt.

Since it's illegal to hurt Furret in this part of the region, that's something Terra would instruct his Pokemon not to hunt. Most Furret are too clever to be rounded up using prey-driving tactics, and Duskull doesn't have any moves capable of hurting Furret.

Manectric and Genie take up their positions. Manectric often enters a serious, wolf mode when hunting, a contrast to his marshmallowy personality when in civilization. He does so now. Genie begins laying traps.

Duskull pans his eye around, sensing only little Pokemon souls. He flushes out a scared Rattata, barely enough food for one meal for one Pokemon. He can't even attack this Rattata.

Then he senses something off to the south. He fades halfway, into stealth mode, and points in that direction, asking Terra's permission to go flush it out.

Riolu shakes his head and smiles happily, offering Shiva a sopping handful of oatmeal. If she refuses, he uses it for warpaint. If she accepts, he tosses it to her underhand.

Anubi is the most precious cinnamon roll of a Riolu, and a mischievous one on top of that, awww! She, eh, has to kindly refuse the offered hand of oatmeal with a delighted smile however, but pats him on the head between the ears if he allows to show that she DOES appreciate the gesture. Towel immediately becomes useful as with it, Riolu's warpaint is cleaned off.

Couple of things to note that I forget to do before in my last post:

- Terra is completely confused about all the towels being worn around by people, but just brushes it off and quietly accepts it. Its not like this was the first time he saw something 'wierd' being common place in Cheshire....
- The Rain is a complete non-issue for Terra, as he's used to any and all rough weather conditions! If it starts thundering badly, though, he'll be seeking shelter pretty soon to avoid bein zapped!

Now, onto the post proper!

With Shiva and Anubi!

Terra stared at the mess that Anubi both made of himself and his surrounding with their leftover oatmeal, before letting out a small *Sigh* and getting the blue bomber's attention by tapping on their shoulder, then point at the.....'paint' he got everywhere.

"Don't waste food, Anubi. Never know when next meal is out in wilds. Eat much as you can, and save or share rest. Okay?"

He calmly looks them in the eyes as he said this, before giving them a smile and massive head pat, showing all was forgiven.

"Okay to have fun, though. Just not with food. Hm....maybe dirt or mud?"

The fairy woman's arrival/greetings was meet with a wave and a simply sincere smile.

"Morning Shiva. Always up early, when I can be. *Smiles widens when she introduces herself to Anubi* Meet my new partner, Anubi the Rilou. They are smart, Loyal Fighting dog. Got him at Shelter yesterday, and we are good partners now. *Looks Anubi* Right?"

Said aural jackal puffs up his chest and plants both his fist on his hips. But of course! He might not fully listen to his partner, but that doesn't mean they don't think highly of them, or wouldn't want to fight alongside such a martial man!

When Shiva started acting overtly harried, the simple monk's smile flipped upside down as he quietly stared at her in worry, before solemnly nodding his head and gesturing to a seat near him.

"Sit, and speak. Something bothering you, so I want to hear it."

He also easily hands over his Egg for her to check, as he full well knows she's a accomplished breeder, and therefore trust her implicitly and automatically with his Pokemon AND greatly respects her skill and talent in such an venerable field. He just doesn't say as such, as he read/saw himself she doesn't like to be overly flattered about her myriad talents/skillsets! Not completely thoughtless, now is he!

During the Big Hunt!

As he predicted, Duskull was....less than tractable to the idea of following his lead, but the combine treat of brute force and sheer intimidation from his and his fem fatales got through to them.....somewhat. From their, the Big Hunt went fairly well, if a little on the sedate and meager side. Catching Rattata by the bushel was nice, but hardly a challenge or filling for either him or his partners.

Then, his spooky specter caught his attention, indiciating they spotted something more.....interesting. The rugged wanderer stared at them for just a few seconds, before giving them a sharp nod.


"Go. Chase it out and to us, Duskull."

Order: Social and have a sit down with Shiva, and then give authorization for Duskull to chase out that Mystery Pokémon! Simple!
