To me personally it sounds more fitting to use one's own Roll to see whether the copied move succeeds or not rather than making it dependant on the foe's Roll. 

That's what I meant.  It's how Calam's Me First vs Excadrill and the various Metronome usages and such have worked in the past, too (I think).  I just wanted to make sure everything was clear as far as that mechanic goes.

The wording 'the copied move uses Copycat's accuracy pool for its accuracy roll' might be a little clearer.

Besides, Me First can't be dependant on the target's accuracy roll because MF is priority/has to go first to even work at all.
