Oh yeah, Nathan's definitely blinking after that surprise, full powered Flash! "...wait, was that...? Gah, this is bothersome..."
Good thing we used that Spider Web and Attract! Now we just have to keep both pokemon from getting removed from the battle so those effects stay.
I guess Nathan's not going to be able to use another pokeball this round unless he can manage to get right next to Bulba and bop it over the head with one without throwing it. And even then, he might not know what kind of pokeball it is unless it's a Great Ball. So guess there's not going to be doing a capture attempt this round as he tries to get his bearings.
The good news is that P-Bulba is likely unable to move very much due to both the Paralysis and the Spider Web, so Juliet should at least know the general direction the saurian is in. (Side Note: Illusion is still intact)
Grid's still focusing on Evading!
"Juliet, use Calm Mind, then attempt to use Confuse Ray if you can figure out where Bulbasaur is while you're focusing!"
Calm Mind
Acc: 12 - 2 Actions - 3 Flash = 7 D6
Effect: +1 Str and Def
Note: Helps Juliet calm down and recenter herself. She might be able to more easily hear and/or psychically sense where Bulba is while doing this
Note 2: Won't increase her Defense while she's holding the Eviolite, but eh
Confuse Ray (but if she can't figure out where Bulba is, she won't attempt this)
Acc: 12 - 3 - 3 = 6 D6
Effect: Confuses the target
Note: More bright lights! Juliet might not have to be aiming this exactly where Bulba is for it to land
Grid is going to evade 3 times again. So long as he remains, at least, Bulba definitely isn't going anywhere.
Evade: 12 base - 3/4/5 - 1 Flash = 8/7/6 D6
Well, this certainly got a lot more interesting all of a sudden...
