He'd be willing to join Shiva to do as you said, and he'd be pleasantly surprised + make him admire her even more, but it wouldn't be a mind blowing revelation. He'll continue catching Pokémon the 'Beating into Submission' way, since that method is almost guaranteed to work, and he usually sells off the Pokémon he catches! Duskull's an exception, since its on my wishlist, and he wasn't likely to get another one via any other way.

Ah, none does expect Terra to ever change in his way to obtain a Pokemon, no worries, dear! Like, with his Stats it'd be pretty unwise to do that in the first place and that's very fine. Pokemon that I catch with the intention to trade off are still battled and weakened to make things easier.

Humm.... Would me accquirering a wild Pokemon for Terra actually work? For example, if he wants to obtain it for team but it's featuring a high Disobediance. Since he could provide a Ball if we take the Encounter of the desired 'Mon together I don't see why that shouldn't be possible. Or hand her the Ball before taking a different Encounter.

If you are prepared for it, it's trivial to catch a Pokemon and have it go to another trainer's OT. Just swap balls.

However, if the target trainer isn't at least present during acquisition, the Pokemon may still view it as a trade and lose Loyalty/Happiness.
