Tanuki has more Dex so she auto-wins initiative ties. Only if Dex is a tie do I move on to base speed.

Tanuki sends out one of her Zigzagoon! This one has extra long claws, which it immediately uses to run straight up one of the tubes.

A hint of suprise washes over the fae enthusiast's expression as it Tanuki's last Pokemon has been revealed. If being honest, she might have expected an evolved or tanky Pokemon or so to counter her Vaporeon, but that thought gets diminished rather quickly when remembering that Zigzagoon were her speciality. Shiva watches how it nimbly runs up one of the tube, tring to figure out what hidden power lies beneath its bristly fur. These long claws give her an ominous feeling.

She called out to Vaporeon, the waterly Eeveelution responds by strengthening her posture - she too was carefully observing the movements and antics of her furry foe. "Alright, Vaporeon... Up with you please, follow Zigzagoon to the tubes. When you've got it, aim for its paws, try to smack it down to the ground again, give it one more try if they evade your blow. Drench 'em in water, give them a cleaning - but if your prey hides within the tubes, flood them to force it out. Understood?" *eager chirp from Vaporeon as she leaped onto one of the tube as well* "Great, let us do well in this showdown! Ah, and that Berry I gave you is yours, rather eat it up before it gets stolen."

A bit of sentimentality hit Shiva pon the thought that she'll have to faint that cute Zigzagoon from Tanuki's side - shaking her head once however, she tries not to overthink that but instead remind herself that this was a Gym Battle, that healing is within reach, and how far she has gotten already. Her waterly Eeveelution against the smol curious racoon, she's excited to see how things develop! Seems to not have lost the fun she's taking in this battle.

Repeat Rock Smash as a second Action if it fails or Zigzagoon evades. If it lands, continue with 3 Water Pulses - if Zigzagoon attempts to seek cover within the tubes though, use one Action to flood them and force Zigzagoon out again.

Accuracy Roll Water Pulse 2, 3 and 4: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 4 Channel - 5 Actions = 4d6, 3d6 and 2d6 for the following Actions respectively.
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + 1 STAB = 6d6, neutral damage

Vaporeon's having a Sitrus Berry hidden at her, she's ordered to consume it when pain becomes a thing ( = at -2). However, Zigzagoon may know Covet, so if it attempts to steal the Berry - Vaporeon will consume it right away to prevent Zigzagoon from getting it. Can I do that, is that feasible?
