Yeah, I felt bad when I wrote that.
The best I could do was to use "example", but I guess it didn't fix it...

I could call you sensei, though...   (...if you know what that means)

I know that means. Its a way of respect when you call, like someone more experiencend, or more older. If you insist, i wouldnt mind.
