If it helps/matters, Melly's also hang close by to both Terra and them, and wouldn't mind being given a good head rub. Petting animals is supposed to help relieve stress, and the volt canine would be more that wiling to be an outlet for those nasty, unfun feelings!

Oh yeah, that definitely helps.  Gallade wordlessly takes over keeping an eye on Duskull.  Even though he's weak to Ghost moves, he has a very powerful dark type atack.  And given that Nathan is incredibly wary of Skull Ruins ghosts at best, you can bet he's taking watching Duskull with utmost seriousness.

Nathan shrugs when asked when they're going to Ancestor cave.  "In the morning, I guess?  The sooner we can get it done, the sooner we can go about our other business for the day.  Have you battled Heart yet, Terra?"
