As Shiva begins her entreaty, she realizes she's read Umbreon all wrong. Must be the remnants of FLASH in her eyes. Umbreon and Eevee are very fearful right now, angry, offended. Nothing she's said has helped them at all, but they're still hoping she will figure out what they're asking.
They've leapt to Nathan because he's near the Ultra Ball, and that's what they want - not for vengeance, but for longing.

As Nathan touches the Ultra Ball, it goes clear and he can glimpse inside. What the...that's not a Bulbasaur at all, Primal or otherwise!

Hm?  A Ditto?

Nathan looks at the Umbreon and Eevee again...back at the pokeball containing a Ditto...

...oh.  That...makes a lot more sense now...

"...Ditto's one of the parents, Shiva and Heart.  It doesn't matter to Umbreon and Eevee that it's not the same species as them.  They're a family, and that's the important part."

He sighs.

"...shoot...this got a lot more complicated all of a sudden..."

Nathan's pretty sure he knows what the two of them want.  Three of them, even.
