It zaps one of only two murals that haven't been revealed yet. As the cave darkens with psychic power, the mural unscrambles itself and time seems to slow.
First, a long and graceful tail is revealed, wrapped around a squat body with four small limbs. Then a sharp chin, almost triangular. Big almond eyes. Pointy ears on a rounded head.



A Legend has entered the room, sprung from an ancient puzzle etching. The ultimate predecessor Pokemon, who contains the DNA of every other Pokemon ever born.

Those of your Pokemon who are loyal and brave enough send off their ordered attacks, but all splash harmlessly against a shimmering shield of power surrounding MEW.

Though you're not sure how real this Mew is, how long it will stay, how powerful it might be, you can feel it is at the heart of the mystery of Ancestor Cave.

With Murelicanth and Artevee banished back to whence they came, and all five different Unown for the good professor caught, Terra (who was still by the cave wall with Shiva, now standing up) let out a *sigh* of relief, as it seemed like this whole unexpectedly crazy errand was finally over... 

Until it turned into a dreadful sound *HACK!* as the Genetic Unown Hidden Power summoned their ace in the hole.

MEW.

When he saw it, he didn't know what the heck type of Pokemon it was. Yet, at the same time, he did.

It was, without a shadow of a doubt, a colossal, unequivocal, and LEGENDARY THREAT to him.

Him...and his friends.

Most would be struck with awe inspired terror at the though of being in the mere presence of a LEGENDARY being like Mew, much less have to FIGHT one.

Terra was not most men.

Calmly and deliberately, he handed over the Unown he caught to Shiva, before looking each and every member of the group, and uttering only this:

"Run. Now."

He then boldly marched forward, returning Mikey and summoning Basteele in their place, both her and Melly flanking his side as went to confront MEW.

To stop them....delay them....or die trying.

For it was his duty to protect the group.

No matter the cost.

Order: Welp, good bye Terra. Our time was short together, but it was sure fun!
