"Oh, you have a Shinx now! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, I suppose! But I shouldn't talk to you like you're a child...you're almost a man now! How's the ranch, how's your mom....er..."

"I've lived here a long time, actually. Close to thirty years. Are these your traveling companions? Ah, Marco always had so many flocking to his banner...come, sit on the porch, all of you! I'll bring out some drinks and we can catch up, eh?"

He's got a porch swing, a couple stools, and several folding chairs with glass tables beside them.

Derailing that train of thought (and rather abruptly) is the inquiry about Nathan's traveling companions.  "...oh, uh...yeah, I guess you could say that...though they aren't exactly flocking to a banner of any kind...I'm not that popular...or really popular at all...*ahem*...uh, anyways...Terra, Shiva, Heart.  Meet my Uncle Oscar.  My dad's brother."

Oscar disappears and comes back with drinks for everyone - he's got a couple different choices like citrus drinks, soft drinks, water, iced tea.


"Hello, Gallade. Hello, gang. Pokemon are absolutely allowed on my porch, so everyone make yourself at home. Nathan, did you get my card? With the Morgusi art on it?"

Terra didn't quite follow along with the conversation between the two relatives (especially the part about the flocking and of the banner...), as he felt is was more of a private conversation than not. Still, when Nathan properly introduced him to the gentleman, the rugged wanderer caught onto that fact quickly, taking a step forward and extending an open hand.

"Hello. My name is Terra Sanaa Ismat. Protect of this group. It is good to meet you, sir."

After that handshake, he stepped back and resume his watchful guard, only moving again to grab an citrus drink when the older man went away and came back with some beverages. He'd and the rest of the group had already eaten and well hydrated themselves earlier, but another tasty drink wouldn't hurt him!

Morgusi's name being dropped, however, caused him to perk up and look first at Oscar curiously, then at the boy. Hmm...

Nathan takes a soft drink and immediately nods in response to the inquiry.  "I did.  Wonderful artwork, that.  I could just about imagine dad's Skarmory using the move himself..." (a semi-loaded response, but given how well kept this little secret is and how vague the hint is, it probably seems really ordinary as long as Oscar doesn't react much to the statement!)

Definitely at least a half decent ice breaker, though Nathan's still not quite sure what direction he should try to take this conversation.  He's sure Uncle Oscar has more questions, though.

He doesn't react, so he probably wasn't privy to the secret. "Yes, it is wonderful, isn't it? Did you know, I've lived right next to Keni Morgusi for thirty years! We chat pretty much every weekend! He's not big on screaming fans...mostly because of that obnoxious couple up the hill in that disgusting shack...but he does sometimes allow quiet visitors who have rare Pokemon! If you lot have been working up a collection, I could ask him if he wanted to meet yours. How about it, all?"

Furthermore, when the older gentleman elaborated that he lived next to the esteemed artist and extended an offer to meet them, that got an even bigger reaction out of Terra, with both his eyebrows shooting up to his hairline and appearing visibly astonished. Such shock didn't last long as he recovered from it and gave a sharp, decisive nod of his head, now looking half way serious, half way.....impressed?

"Yes.  Would be great honor to meet Keni Morgusi, and him to see my Pokémon. Especially my Milotic Lapis Lazuli, *Nods* . *Smiles* Appreciate you making this offer for us, sir....."
