The wagon is slowly lowered onto the Light Screen. Viktor bears some of the weight on the way down. The wagon touches down safely!!
Immediately, the man "driving" the wagon stands up and holds the tube thing over his head, glorying in being alive! You can see that it's an Eelektrik. "OH, thank you, brave trainers! Allow me to heal your Pokemon! Berries for everyone!" He digs into his pocket and flings Berries all over the place like a man throwing candy from a parade - 10 Oran Berries in all.
"And you never know when your Pokemon might harbor some hidden ailment, oh my! So it's best to get them checked out at Dr. M's Traveling Medicine Show!" He kicks a lever near the driver's seat. The wagon has been touched down for all of 10 seconds before he's got the plywood slats downed, revealing a concession-stand style arrangement where you can go up to the window and view shelves of wares.
A few other vehicles have arrived to rubberneck at the big hole in the road. Two people head up to the medicine show cart, but it looks like Dr. M will give the heroes priority.
(Spira arrives on scene at this point, if desired.)
Meanwhile, Stoutland has run up to the carriage and leapt inside while it's still moving. Smeargle has reined in the Gogoat and the carriage comes to a fairly sudden halt, thirty feet past the wagon and the Rhyhorn Pokeball.
Chansey and its burden smack up against Dizzy's body, but since you stopped the Rhyhorn and wagon both, and Smeargle passed the pilot check, no one looks to have taken damage, not even Dizzy. The child, a very tiny toddler, has half stood up in Chansey's arms and is petting Dizzy with one hand. The other hand clutches an androgynous porcelain doll which is smeared with various colors of paint and wearing Pikachu ears.
Calam smiles at how cute this scene is.
The mother and father are fussing over the baby, but Chansey reassures them. Machop has gotten out and, after helping the father step down onto the ground, is inspecting the damage.
Dad runs over to whoever's still nearby - he'd probably run to Heart who looks like the adult (and male) of the group. "Oh, thank you, thank you! I'm traveling with my son and, oh, it could have been such a disaster! When I saw those Absol I thought it was the end for sure. But he seems to like them. How can I thank you, how? Such strong trainers with strong and fast Pokemon! Such heroes! So helpful! So creative, catching a stampeding Pokemon when moves weren't enough to stop it! I'll have to write a letter to Professor Westwood and thank him for his wonderful invention saving my family from certain death! Two Absol, gosh!"
He slows down a bit.
"I'm Mito, and that's my wife Rita in the carriage. Machop, my footman. Our new nursemaid, Chansey. Our old cabdriver, Smeargle, the third generation of Smeargle serving our family. And of course our little baby Pumpkin-Peanut. Look at him, he loves Pokemon so much!"
He shakes your hands, possibly including Terra if he comes over here.
"Anything I can do for you, name it. Please. It brings me honor to repay your kindness."
Every Pokemon and Trainer in the Encounter gets 4XP from this, and trainers get +2 for heroism. Rhyhorn stats and storefront coming up soon.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.
