When you make your offer, the Diggersby points to one of the soldiers at a nearby camp. He sees you two, and comes over. Terra is the one whose clothing is most appropriate for this era, so he doesn't really get much of a second glance. These are all big men, too, though only about 10% are as big as Terra. This guy is about 2 inches shorter and a bit slighter.

"You there! Sirrah, need you something of my Diggersby? Be you traveler, monk, pilgrim, beggar, or cleric?"

Somewhat caught off guard and a little embarrassed by this turn of events, Terra blinked a coupled of time at the soldier, before coughing slightly and speaking up.

"Hm.....Consider myself a monk, but I am a performer too sometimes. Diggersby....thought he was Wild, so tried to bargain a Fight with it to join my team. Did not know it was yours, though. Sorry....."

He rubs the back of his head and chuckle somewhat abashedly, looking sincerely apologetic and completely open to them. It was honest mistake on his part, so could they forgive him....?

Yeah, this guy doesn't seem all that angry. He does seem to consider you lower class than yourself. 

"Your apology is accepted, sirrah. For maintaining and expanding the King's Road, these Diggersby accompany us. Have you gold? Then might you purchase a Diggersby. Have you silver? Mayhap might you purchase a young Bunnelby."
