I can see why you say that Windos. Its indeed a huge amount of effort in train such pokemon to this point of the roleplay. But I still want to capture one for three reasons:

1 - Honedge and all his evolution lines its one of my favourite ghost-type pokemon because of his conection with knights and kingmaker. 

2 - In character reasons. Since Heart its a Pokemon Rare Collector, find many types of pokemons and add to his collection it is something Heart do all times. And what rarest pokemon in Cheshire if not a Honedge?

3 - I want to know how it is the feeling in train a Honedge for future campaighs. Every campaigh end someday, and since our campaigh in Celadon City its close to its end I will problably separate from my char from there. And one of my new character mons I was thinking to make have a more...close aproach like a gladiator and one of my ideas of pokemon it or a Aegislash or Doublade. Thats why I want to capture and train one to see how it the process of training, abilities and moves. Its more easy to do that with a char with good level of skills.

Thats the reasons why I want to get the metalic ghost.

Those are all reasons I can understand and greatly respect, so with those in mind I say that getting a Honedge is not a bad idea if you just want to have fun and experiment with it. 

Even if I didn't agree, the choice on what to do with your character is always yours - and that is the way it SHOULD be. All I can do is offer commentary and sometimes advice on the various stuff everyone does, and on occasions make requests of others. Neither of which does not have to be heeded to unless said person wants to, and not strictly so at that. 

In sum, do what you want in the game, regardless of what I say on a given matter, unless it involves directly screwing with another character(s) for no good reason. It would be nice if someone listened, or was at least receptive , but never required or demanded - far from it.
