"Found some ghost pokemon at the camp." He says pointing at the soldier camp. "Also found a strange black seed that my ghost pokemon seem to like, thought you might know more about it." He hands the seed to Nathan for him to look at. When Spira gets his cloak the first thing he notices is the pattern on the back of it. "Wow that looks similar, but not quite like the badge for Hearthome," Spira sweeps back his trench coat revealing the badge for 1925 Hearthome on his shirt pocket

the three circles of the badge are in a triangular formation at center with a single curved line coming from each of them in a clockwise fasion. Spira take his hat and trench coat off and puts them in his bag, putting the cloak on over his bag. {OOC I got tired of my phone erasing everything i typed when i tried to upload the pic...}

Nathan looks at the camp whenSpira says there are Ghost types over there.  Obviously, he doesn't see any.  "...I'll take your word for it.  Just one more reason to not go over there..."

When Nathan's handed the seed, Gallade takes a step back and eyes it warily...

"...your Ghosts were interested in it, huh?  Hmmm...I'd say it probably has some kind of benefit for Ghost types, then...could boost the strength of Ghost moves, or it might do something else..."  Not sure if Nathan knows much about what kind of item it might be or what it might do.  That's @Iron's call.  Regardless if he knows, holding the item does make Nathan slightly uncomfortable, so he hands the item back as soon as he's done examining it.

And finally, when Spira comments about the cloak and the design Nathan sewed onto the back...

"...that's because those interlocking four circles in the upside down triangle pattern are the general shape of the Hearthome Gym Badge.  Well, in 2017, anyways.  Didn't know what else to put on the cloak, to be honest, but I had a good feeling about that.  Weird question, by the way, but what type does the Hearthome Gym specialize in using in 1925?  And those other badges...which gyms are those from, if I may also ask that?"  (Nathan was inevitably going to ask that, so I figured I might as well get that out of the way now)

Just some casual conversation in the meantime while waiting for everyone else to show up.

Spira, you're welcome to make up anything about other regions. For Creshire, just ask me whatever you want to know.

Nathan doesn't know what this seed is, so he can eliminate that it's anything historical or ranching-related. As a farmer he does think it's a real seed of some sort, and not like a Miracle Seed.
