What Nathan finds is most spectacular of all. He's found the site of a recent fierce battle, where arches and road surfaces have been crumbled under the sheer force of powerful attacks. All the warding gems are shattered into dust. One arch has already been thoroughly looted, all the gems prised away. An empty slot is left for a large sphere. In the other ruined arch, the gems are likewise missing, but a huge metal orb has escaped detection beneath a thick layer of dust. Giving it a little rub, Nathan is amazed to discover it's made out of one of Sarimanok's three legendary metals.
Those are:
Orichalcum: Associated with wild Pokemon and Arceus and Mew.
Mithril: Associated with journeys/Quests and Heatran.
Adamant: Associated with time, and Dialga, of course.
What Nathan has found is a sphere made of Adamant, a large enough quantity to possess some power of its own. It doesn't hold the incredible evoked Earthpower of a true Adamant Orb, of course, but it's still worth a King's ransom in 2017, and it will certainly hold power in 500AD, though it's common enough to be used as a particularly grandiose decoration.
The Legendary Metals were created by Sarimanok as a boon from Heatran itself. No one knows what favor the King performed to earn such a reward. Only the King himself could create the metal using an infusion of Earthpower and metallurgical techniques now lost to the ages. It is known he had to be sitting in the Throne to perform this miracle.
This is a truly incredible find, but it may raise some ethical questions.
