[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Normally I don't ask this, but.....any suggestions on what Encounter I should take, Dragonstrike? Like I said earlier, I want to fight one of the Leaders, but given how taking or even hindering them can change the whole course of conflict/history, I'm not too sure its such a beuno idea. Current Team is practically Anubi, Angie, Tommy (Meowth), Lapis Lazuli, and Melly, if you need to know.

For starters, it should be noted that only the final three encounters (Conkeldurr, Western Leader, and A-Marowak) require you to make that Dex check and get 3+ successes.  Everything else is fair game, including the Eastern Leader atop his Tropius (might need ranged moves of some variety to hit his mount).  Terra COULD technically get to those 3 encounters, but he'd have to send a Will point on adding a success to his Dex check AND get 2 successes on 2 Dex to do so.



As far as challenging the commanders goes...well, lemme ask @Iron these questions first:
- Was/is Nathan able to tell who each side is representing?
- Do either side look like Sarimanok's forces? (my first guess is that the eastern forces would be Sarimanok's since we just came from that direction, but I could be wrong since we didn't see very many Rapidash in that camp)



Aside from those 5 encounters, that leaves Hitmonlee (dangerous challenge required), a 1v1 (provided you think you can ride a steed), Farfetch'd* (save that duck!), and Trainer Supplies (moar stuff, but kinda dangerous since it's in the middle of the battle).

Correct, the Sun is often associated with King Sarimanok, and the Eastern Sun army is no exception. These are not his elite forces - they tend to be brawlers and skirmishers, but of course they are still very strong.
That means the Westerners are from lands Sarimanok hasn't conquered yet, which helps you place the year - Sarimanok is still a couple years short of the peak of his power, but he's already reigned for a decade and befriended his Legendaries.
