Maybe I would take the encounter of the A-Malowak or the Western General encoutner.

If you want the option of going for either of those yourself, you need to pass a Dex check of your own with 3+ successes (we all have to make our own, separate checks to have a shot at those last 3 encounters).  You can spend a Will point to add a success to the check if you want to make it easier.
