"Anyways let's both take out the Normal ones first then let me focus on the leader." (Even though the main skirmish has music I feel this battle needs some music too.)
(I'll add that track to the UST later.)
Nathan's a little out of breath from how quickly he's been running. Dittolune and Starmie seem ready and raring to go, though!
"...Fire...Ghost type....really rare...really hard to tame...Marowak tend to gather...where a lot of pokemon died...or are about to...*huff huff*..." That's the brief summary. He might have more to say later, though.
Nathan looks a little surprised at Spira's plan to take out A-Marowak last.
"...okay...? *huff huff*...if you say so...I guess...could KO it really quickly, though...Starmie, Ditto...do your things...*huff huff*..."
While Nathan's catching his breath, his two pokemon are launching right into the battle!
Ditto breaks the mold!
Starmie does what it does best: spam water moves!
Hydro Pump 1 and 2 (first one on Marowak A, second on C since those are the ones Spira is targeting first)
Acc: 6* Dex + 3 Fgt + 3 Canalize - 2 Acc - 4/5 Actions = 6/5 D6
Dmg: 5 Pow + 4 Str + STAB + MW + SE = 11 D6 base + 1 damage
Bubble Beam 3 and 4
Acc: 12 - 6/7 = 6/5 D6
Dmg: 3 + 4 + STAB + MW + SE = 9 D6 base + 1 damage
Eff: -1 Dex (1)
Ditto, meanwhile, is running support once again, then launching some attacks of his own!
Wide Guard 1 and 2
Acc: 12 - 4/5 (-2 repeat use) = 8 D6/5 D6
Eff: -3 Damage/chance dice for all opponents' next action. Does not nullify support moves, but protects all allies. +3 Priority
Drain Punch 3 and 4
Acc: 6* + 3 + 3 Brawl - 6/7 = 6/5 D6
Dmg: 3 + 4 + STAB = 8 D6 base
Eff: 1/2 damage HP drain
Plan of attack: nuke two separate Marowak with Hydro Pump, then focus them down one at a time!
Nathan also has a Potion each for his two pokemon ready if either of them are reduced to a -2 or -3 Pain Penalty. He does not want them to faint when there's so many opponents around!
