1: If you use a Heal Ball on a fainted pokemon, would that revive it?
2: Does the HP restore every 3 encounters apply to pokemon as well (forgot to apply this to Noire b4 going offline yesterday if it does.)
3: Do fainted pokemon recover on their own after a while or do they run the risk of dying? (Mainly asking because of the fainted Marowak I have)
1. I think that's a no? There haven't been any Heal Balls to purchase in this campaign so far, though, so there's no precedent either way yet.
2. Yes. Start counting after they first take damage, heal 1 HP every 3 encounters, stop counting as soon as they're fully healed.
3. They eventually recover. After 8 hours/3 encounters, they recover 1 HP (if they aren't fully healed already) and are no longer fainted. Fainted characters do not benefit from the 'long rest restores 5 HP' mechanic as a consequence, however.
