A high-pitched and sharp squeal escapes Shiva as a HAND firmly grabs her by the shoulder, she intuitively squirmed with everything she got to break free from who- or whatever was coming for her there. Baaad moment to touch her, as she was tense as heck and full of fear, so her level of startle increasing by 100% was all naturally! D: Regardless how much she fought however she didn't make it to get free as Terra was simply stronger, as soon as she realized that it was only him trying to calm her down with an unexpected hug though her hands ended up clutching to his shirt as she was seeking his protection now more than ever. Her breath was still hitched and her heart was noticeably racing, but once the instant startle faded she began to tune down a little. His words of having faith, of her too being capable, added rather well.
Eventually she whispered a few words. "U.... understood, yes.... Faith... T-thank you, Terra. Disaster however... It WILL come, can't prevent it.... Haahhh... Celebi wouldn't...let us die though - would she? Will trust in her..."

That's all from my side on that then concerning this! Whether Terra reacts or replies or not is up to him, I wouldn't mind if he does not. -- End of small flashback. --

The fae woman's Spoink like squeal nearly caused Terra to release her out of pure surprise induced reflex, before her trashing caused him to snap back into focus and tighten his grip/hug on her. Ven mentioned in all manner of ways that Shiva was often.....'dynamic, whimsical, and ever fluctuating in her mental and emotional capacity' , but never once was he told she'd react like THAT to what should have been a strong embrace. Was this something they forgot to tell him about? Was it a unique reaction, brought about all the stress of involuntary time travel and the imminent disaster about to take place? Or was it simply because his hug went wrong somehow? 

No, no, even he wasn't to screw something simple as THAT. Especially with all the practice he's had done with his own partners, most recently his newishborn smol snake Angie!

Honestly, he didn't have an answer for why his boss' girlfriend was acting so WILD, but he shan't let his ignorance get in the way of doing what he thinks is the right thing: provide as much care, support, and comfort to Shiva as humanly possible! Pokemon too, since their partners are doing their part in soothing her woes! He and the others are there for you, so please.....

Thankfully, she ended up reciprocating his hug with an forcefulness and gradually began the process of calming down, pulling away after she spoke to give her a small, warm smile.

"Good. Faith will make you strong, in.....ways other things can not. Disaster......we all will be together, and Survive through it. Okay?"

As for the comment on Celebi's intention, that completely flew over the rugged wanderer's head and caused him to frown thoughtfully, as that was not an Important Name Ven had him memorize, yet it sounded just like one. In the end, he decided to forget about it for the moment, and devote his full efforts to restoring the mystical lass' to her former state. Perhaps later on he'll learn more about whomever that person/thing really is, but for now the only thing that mattered to him was making sure his friend would be alright!

Once she made enough of a recovery to fully get ahold of herself, he released her from his holistic hug and left her to her own devices unmolested any further, as he felt he did what he could for her. How she'd deal with everything now......the rest of that was up to her.

(And with that, our posts for this scene should be concluded! Was able to manage separating Terra and Shiva after she got better so that she could go talk with Nathan AND not have to worry so much about the mountainous man hover around like a mother hen! Next post should be Heart's......soon as I take a nap!)
