I'll describe the diner more later, but there is a color TV as well as a pair of black and white TVs. The news allows you to discover the date: April 18, 1960. I'll also briefly mention that the diner is very Pokemon-friendly.

Dizzy is bored in the Chrome Age. There's not really much danger, nor does he know of anything to infiltrate.

When you examine Cherrim, you see there is a little swelling under her cloak of leaves. With your Breeder's knowledge, you recognize this as the start of a Cherubi Egg! You're not sure how it got there, but your Pokemon has it!

This Egg will become a true Egg on Day 72 back in 2017.

Shiva's following the news more secondarily than attentively as it's more interesting for her to interact with her Pokemon, but she certainly does pick up on the date: With delight and newly-arisen eager thanks to the realization that they're coming closer to returning to 2017, she goes back to following her own business. None seems to mind that she's having several Pokemon out, in fact she soon recognizes the diner as very Pokemon-friendly. Aww!

The sensation that Nightshade is on a good way to develop an Egg containing a smol Cherubi was QUITE a suprise for Shiva, especially since she can't remember leaving her at the Daycare nor even bringing her close to a matching male breeding partner. Eh... She'd either assume asexual reproduction, gathered and concentrated energy from the sun + earthpower or something having to do with the latest happenings as the suspected reasons, but she's way more delighted over this than she is wondering how it got there. She can't help but to envelop her dear sunbringer into a close hug.♡

Or maybe Spira/@Mikaruge108 has any ideas as he's having more practical experience in Pokemon Breeding, Shiva will greet and wave him over to her table once he arrives at the diner. (Which he said he would as soon as being done with dumpster-diving.)

2xp for Primal Glaceon as the Lucky Eggs I asked Keni's dad for grant a bonus on Training ROLLS but not SESSIONS (proof). Am I right in the assumption that there's no upward limit or border how many XP a Pokemon can collect in total? It's my Pokemon, so it should be under my discretion what to do with the XP it gathers.

I see no reason to cap XP, no. Some very expensive surprises might require vast caches of XP.
