For a Psychic type on his core team, I am thinking either Grumpig or Meowstic, since Marco likes somewhat intimidating or aggressive Pokemon. Naturally, he would have had more than six Pokemon in his collection, but he'd have the six he used to challenge the E4.
Elgyem definitely looks more blue than green, but his name only makes sense if you consider him at least a little green.
A question for a later day, then! On the note of Grumpig vs Meowstic, though, if he likes intimidating/aggressive pokemon, a Female Meowstic would probably do the trick, given their more offensive movesets (which aren't listed in the book, sadly, and I'm not sure why since it's different enough to warrant another entry for the opposite gender) and more aggressive tendencies. Personally, I've never really thought of Grumpig as intimidating or aggressive since it's a pig (one with very powerful psychic abilities that can be painful for it to use, but a pig nonetheless). Cats, though, ya definitely don't want to mess with.
True enough. And then there's those clearly green eyes and the lights on its hands...

Nathan does have one more question for Hitmonchan and his trainer. Or rather, Hitmonchan's trainer specifically. "If you don't mind me asking, sir, what's your name? I've been enjoying the conversation, and it'd be nice to know who I'm conversing with, both pokemon and trainer."
