Your Pokeballs are blinking - but Nathan can see threads emanating to everyone's Pokemon. 

Each of you can choose whether to keep your current massive teams, or to send Pokemon to the PC of three years ago.

Does Spira having only pokemon in 20s pokeballs that existed before the automated PC functions have any bearing on whether he has to worry about this?

Either way, he only has 6 pokemon on hand atm, so his pokeballs wouldn't currently be blinking anyways (if they even have that function).
