Medicham immediately goes over to Gallade. Gallade senses hostility, and for a moment it looks like the two will fight. But when Terra introduces them, Medicham quickly leaps into the tree and peers down at Gallade more curiously. They seem to be passing emotions back and forth with each other. Both have their eyes narrowed. Then, strangely, Medicham plucks a dried Deyo flower from within his hat/head and hands it to Gallade. Gallade accepts it with a courteous bow, but his eyes are VERY narrow. The gesture apparently means something to these two Pokemon.

Hmmmmm...definitely not what I expected to happen...

And Nathan is definitely a lot more interested in this Medicham now, for good or ill.  Seems Gallade's meditations are also thouroughly interrupted at this point...

Nathan directs this question at both Gallade and Medicham.  "...and what's all that hostility for, hm?  Either one of you want to explain?"

Almost at the same moment, they spin away from each other so their backs are turned. They both make a "Hmmph!" noise. Gallade drops his Deyo flower on the ground, but Gothitelle has tucked hers away somewhere and is watching the two macho Pokemon with curiosity.

Throughout the next few minutes, Medicham, Gallade, and Gothitelle are all sneaking glances at each other constantly whenever they think the other one is not looking. They're still trying to ascertain some detail about the others.
