You recognize that color scheme, the kind of pastel rainbow, as being similar to that on the Key Stones. It's definitely not a Key Stone though.

It definitely flashes faster as Nathan gets closer.


As for the sealed Pokeball, I wouldn't think Nathan has ever seen or heard of such a thing. Heart might have?

"...hmmm...that's...weird...you said you found this in the camp, Heart?"

Nathan's definitely picked the hexagonal rainbow gem up and is examining it more closely at this point.

"...it looks like a Key Stone, but it definitely isn't from what I know of them...at the same time, though, it looks like the kind of accessory you'd set a Key Stone in...so if it's not a Key Stone, then what is it?  And why is it flashing?  Hmmm..."

It's a weird feeling, but he almost feels like it's flashing in response to...him?  Nathan looks at Gallade and Heart (@Spiritmon) questioningly.

"...it looks like it can be worn around the waist, like a belt...should I try it on?  What do you two think?"

Ah well, can't know it all, I suppose.  If it's not a common traditional thing, then I guess that's out of Nathan's area of expertise.  Nathan shrugs and hands the sealed pokeball back to Spira.  And given Mika mentioned showing Heart as well, I presume Spira is getting Heart to examine it next?

Heart release Rose, just in case something might happen. When Nathan ask his opinion, he think for a second. "I guess you should be careful Warren. We don't know if that gem is indeed a Key Stone. In the worse scenario, the energy flow of Earthpower could tear appart your arm. Maybe even destroy your body if not careful. I can think in "N" things it might get wrong in that experiment. Also, you should ask Shiva, Terra and Spira their opinions too. Their thoughts is more important than mine and as much important as Gallade."

As for Spira mysterious pokeball...is Heart recognize something @Iron in his travels? He have visited many kinds of places, regions and some ruins so he might remember something in his travels.

Yeah, I think Heart might have seen or heard of things like that. And when Heart shares what he knows, it may trigger Nathan's memory of Juliet's transformation.

There are some dangerous Ghost-type Pokemon who sometimes become chained to their Pokeballs after being abandoned or lost. Their shackles prevent them from taking revenge on the causes of their abandonment. Very, very dangerous, especially when evolved.


It's also possible to shackle any Pokemon into its Pokeball to prevent it from letting itself out. Such shackles are a bit expensive and require a special key to release the button. These shackled Pokeballs cannot be sent to the PC. Almanac does make them, but didn't invent the shackles.
