Medicham considers these terms, then agrees to them! He doesn't even seem too reluctant about it. Clearly he still has an agenda. He'll be willing to ride along in a Pokeball.

Medicham's Hidden Power is a passive one. If he's been in the party for 24 hours leading up to a combat, he has a +1 Dex Surprise that can stack with moves and such. (It's assumed he found time to use his move in that 24 hours, but going to the PC or something will reset it).

Terra lets out a small *sigh* of relief and wanly smiles when the psychic monk's easily complied with his demands, as them Fighting with Gallade/Gothitelle was one less thing he had to worry about now. Of course, he still had to deal with their enigmatic/willful behavior and general distrust towards his friend's favorite Pokemon (or one of, in Shiva's case) , but hopefully enough time bonding between him and the group will ease those issues. If not, and/or things become worse with them SOMEHOW.....well, they would fetch a pretty Poke on the market.

Once he got them registered to a Pokeball, the Steely brawler decided to keep Medicham in it for that time being, as it was abundantly clear even to him that their flowery first impressions they left most everyone tense, on edge, and generally in a sour/distrusting mood. Best to let things cool off and privately socialize with the master meditator on his own time first, before working on their PR with everyone else....

Lapis would also be recalled by this point to recover from his prolonged stay on dry land, but not before giving his partner a soothing nuzzle to help clear away their stress. Things might have been hectic now, but they'd become more pleasant sooner or later...

(If it's possible, I'd like a chance to Flashforward to a time/location that Terra can be alone with Medicham, as I want to name them at that moment and interact with them more/test things out with them without riling everyone up in game more AND not wasting everyone's time OOC. If not, I'll schedule for such later.)

Terra puts the gem on. It straps on easily, and can easily be seen from this position. The flashing pattern doesn't change at all - only when approaching Nathan. Terra does notice that the topmost facet, the one he can see with his peripheral vision, gets more and more purple when near to Nathan.

Seeing as nothing particularly ruinous happened when he donned the Rainbow Relic besides its continued reaction towards Nathan, Terra deemed it to be safe enough for everyone else to where, and so promptly unequipped and presented it to the boy (with Heart's permission first, of course).

"Nothing happened, except for top part of gem to......become more purple near you. *Shrugs* Think gem thingy is safe enough. Didn't feel anything wrong or.....not good with it. *Looks stern/serious* If anything bad or.....too wierd happen, though, take it off immediately. Okay? *Nods* Okay. Here you go."

He hands over the strange gem plate, and stepped off to the side with arms crossed, now vigilant and primed for anything that may/may not spark up between it and the boy. If something ominous started to occur, he'd be the first to react guaranteed, as he'll be pluck like a Torchic before he lets anything disastrous befall his friend uncontested!
