Semi-random topic of the day: So, I picked up my preorder of Let's Go Eevee today, and I decided to look up exactly what the new moves exclusive to the two starter pokemon of these games do exactly (courtesy of Serebii listing them all out)...

Partner Pikachu's:

Floaty Fall: 90 power, 95 accuracy, Physical Flying type attack with a chance to Flinch the target
Pika Papow: a Special Electric type Return that never misses
Splishy Splash: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Water type attack that has a chance to Paralyze the target
Zippy Zap: 50 power, 100 accuracy, priority, Physical Electric type attack that always crits



Partner Eevee's:

Veevee Volley: like Return in every way except it never misses
Bouncy Bubble: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Water type attack that restores HP equal to half the damage dealt
Buzzy Buzz: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Electric type attack that always Paralyzes the target
Sizzly Slide: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Fire type attack that always Burns the target
Glitzy Glow: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Psychic type attack that sets up a Light Screen
Baddy Bad: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Dark type attack that sets up a Reflect
Sappy Seed: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Grass type attack that afflicts the target with a Leech Seed status
Freezy Frost: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Ice type attack that resets all stat changes on the field (ala Haze)
Sparkly Swirl: 90 power, 100 accuracy, Special Fairy type attack that heals all status conditions in the user's party (ala Aromatherapy)



Needless to say, I think Partner Eevee got the better end of the signature moves...

Huh, how about that. My thoughts on Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee has already been expressed (I'm not interest in them), but I still find it rather intriguing they decided to shaft their series mascot in this case over the adorably genetically unstable furball. Considering how much exclusive stuff Pikachu already has gotten over the years, though, I don't think its too bad they didn't get anything particularly neat Movewise (Besides its Water Type Move). Plus, move TLC on Eevee is not a bad thing to me!
