Nathan doesn't give them the satisfaction of responding to their demand that they surrender. He instead focuses on the battle and what's going on during the course of it.

Nathan shakes his head as the battle winds down. That was definitely something else...he wasn't prepared for them to be abusing Synchronize of all things...
He'll take another look at that crystal in a sec...lilac...hmmm...if purple is royalty, then lilac is...hmmm...
No time to ponder that too much at the moment. Some of these characters need medical attention, and Nathan's going to administer that First Aid ASAP! Angie and Dizzy are both in a really, really bad way! Especially Dizzy! And I imagine Calam bursts out of his ball to make sure Dizzy's okay as soon as the battle's over!
