Now, those Earth Scimitars, those are some real ruthless guys... their philosophy is a lot more brutal, and I don't even try to understand it."


You can send a text if you allow your cell phone to run an "update" to sync to 2014. The Pokedex works with the same kind of SIM card that lets a cell phone connect, so it will work too. Sending data in 2014 is a lot slower than you'd be used to in 2017, but voice and text is fine.

As a son from a merchant family, Terra couldn't help but nod to himself at the Scimitar's explantion of Almanac's rationale and plans, as from a purely business and financial perspective they were doing the right and smart thing backing the Water Scimitars. Didn't make their research methods, past decisions, and their business practices/association any less than highly morally dubious and scummy, but at the very least the mega corporation has a reason for doing those things besides for the SCIENCE or lulz.

"......Disagree with Scimitar philosophy and methods, but I can......respect. Only a little, though. It is not still not good or right for you Scimitars to use your.....abilities and tools that way. Or......take a Pokemon's powers and keep them asleep and locked away. Hm.....think you......did smart and right thing by not recruiting too. Not good to get innocents involved in shady or dangerous stuff, or cause trouble for Cheshire like that."

Even though he's still quite upset and displeased with the weakly wizard, Terra will give credit where its due. He's not going to be blindly angry or condemning of people if he thinks they present a good enough point, even if by all rights they deserve such treatment. In line with that, when the Scimitar made their offer, he mulled it over for a moment.....before he slowly nodded his head.

"Hm.....yes. We can agree to disagree. Me and my group will stop you Scimitars if you do bad, and will rescue Thrawn and everyone else. ....But can see you all are trying to do right thing, like us. Even if you do it in wrong and bad ways for.....not good enough reasons. Maybe I am.....naive, but that is not a bad thing if it means doing things right and good. Rather be a good dumb fool than not. "

".....Earth Scimitars? Did not mention them before. .....Tell me  about them. Goals, philosophy, who they work with, who leads them.......everything you can. Understood?"

Noticably, Terra requests information from the mage this time, as opposed to outright trying to Intimidate it out of him. At the very least this meant that the mountain of a man has calmed down to the point he isn't trying to scare them half to death, so that must be a relief to the 'poor' man!

Regarding the Pokedex, Terra will run the 'update' if he thinks it wouldn't brick it back in the present, and then send that text message to Nathan/Heart. Simple as that!
