An interesting thought occurred to me.

Hida might not just evolve over the course of 1000 years.  He might also gain exp and learn new moves because so much time will have passed for him.  It'd be surprising if he didn't grow and change over such a long period of time, to be honest...



And Dizzy/Calam even acts as an example of a similar thing already occurring earlier in the campaign, too.  Over the course of three years, his experiences lead to his attitude and approaches towards various situations generally becoming more direct, he learned Night Slash (the only move besides Rock Smash that Calam knew when he met/reunited with Nathan that the young Dizzy did not know during his travels with the group), and he gained his +1 Dex and Survival Surprise.
