Nathan looks at Dittogon, a small smile on his face.  Ditto's just leaning up against a wall, waiting for something interesting to happen.  "...I know my way around Dragons.  It's a part of my ancestry, though I don't really have any reason to brag about that.  I don't think taking care of Dratini would be too difficult, though.  And it'd be an honor to care for such a prestigious species."

Nathan gets a little more serious after that since this is such a serious topic, though.  But only a little, as he's definitely more confident asking was the right choice now.  "If nobody else were to take Flabebe's egg, I'd be willing to do so.  I'm always glad to make new pokemon friends.  I have many of them already, but it's fun to have such a large variety.  I like to think of us as a big, happy family sometimes, or at least as a good group of friends.  It's not the case for all of my pokemon yet, but I'd like it to be so eventually, so I try to work towards that whenever I have opportunities to do so."

"Besides myself, though, Shiva has a particular liking for Fairy types, so that'd be an obvious pick right there if she's willing to take on the additional burden.  Heart is a collector, but he understands the importance of needing friends and family to rely on, though I suppose that depends on if he wishes to take on that burden and if he takes on any others.  Terra might take Flabebe as well if we bring the topic up to him...I think...though he's not here at the moment...I can't really speak for Spira, though I suppose he's already spoken for himself, so I guess I don't need to."

In short, Nathan is pretty confident Shiva, Heart, and Terra (Nathan doesn't know IC that Terra would decline) would be able to assist with the Flabebe if they wish to take the egg (though Heart might have Moltres to deal with, which is a point to consider).  If nobody wants to take on the responsibility of the Flabebe egg, though, Nathan is more than willing to do so in addition to the Dratini egg and Absolite.

And then Nathan remembers something.  "Oh, right.  You just showed up, Heart.  Let me explain what's going on.  Arcanine's offering to let us take care of these endangered species, provided we help them repopulate their habitats in Creshire, even if we have to make difficult decisions to do what's best for them.  These eggs are some of the last few of their kind in this time, Celebi's egg being the odd exception due to the nature of it being...well, a Celebi egg left here at Celebi's request.  Shinx, Vulpix, and Magikarp are all common enough in our time that we don't have to worry about those.  Dratini, Flabebe, Minicorn, and Mega Absol...those four species are all endangered for various reasons.  And that last egg...that one's...a, uh...well, you should probably talk to Arcanine about that one, Heart.  I think you might be a good fit for it, but Arcanine gets the final call on that since he's these eggs' guardian.  On top of that, any Fire aligned pokemon that bear witness to the Pledge we're about to make will be bound to help enforce that promise to Nature itself, but will learn powerful techniques in return to aid them in that endeavor and any future ones.  So...yeah.  That's what's going on right now.  And I really do recommend you speak to Arcanine about that last egg." "Uh sure. I can talk with Arcanine about that egg. I already taking care with Beldum egg, but I have nothing against taking care in another one. We all take a oath to protect the nature."

"About the Pledge...Rose, what you think? You did a lot of hard work until now, so what you think?"

"Your connection to the Legendary Egg will be like nothing you have ever experienced. It is likely to help you in your quest, but it will demand much in return. Your thoughts?"


Rose is definitely willing to make and witness the Pledge. As a fully evolved Starter, she's very qualified for it.

Heart thinks for a second about the responsability in protect such Legendary Egg. After what it was a eternity he finally speak up. "To be honest, I dont know if I really am the most qualify person to take care such responsability to protect that egg. I always was a coward. I only have found courage to restore my clan was only in the recently times. To receive such responsability and honor like be the guardian of a Legendary egg...but, if I want to restore my clan, and become the Leader I need to be, such responsability will be the ultimate test to see if I deserve restore my clan."

Heart then bow to Arcanine. "Great and might Arcanine, I, Joseph ArcHeart, accept the responsability and burden in protect and raise the egg of Moltres, until he become the Legendary Bird he is destiny to become. I swear in the name of my ancestor Ark. This is also a oath in the name of Arceus itself, creator of us all."

"I already face many dangers before lord Arcanine. Me and my friends fough a Legendary Seikamater to save our pokemon and family. And we have faced a copy of Mew itself to save a precious friend of ours. Danger we already face, and I gonna protect this egg, even if cost my own life."

I have one question though: Where I can find those Sacred Plants? And I could find a way to conserve any of those plants to keep the flame of Moltres egg burning?"

After the confirmation of Rose, Heart and her starter was ready to witness the Pledge! Did I need to choose the Pledge or it is random Iron? If not I choose then...Fire Pledge. A area move to cover everything in flames its always useful move. Not to mention its causes Fire Damage.

(It's always Fire Pledge. You can also grab the other moves I listed earlier if they are on Rose's movelist.)


"Your willingness to lay your life on the line...it is a good start."

"There are many Sacred Plants holy to Moltres and her sister, Ho-Oh. Sandalwood. Cedar. Balsam. Spikenard. Olibanum. Resinwood. Gum. Incense. If nothing else is available, use sassafras or other common scented plants. You will have to harvest them along your journeys and keep as much stocked as possible. They do not have to be fresh."

"One thing more I will advise you: when the Egg hatches, gather a small quantity of the ashes formed of the Eggshell. It can soothe any number of wounds when mixed with the ashes of the final pyre, but only while still very fresh. So you must keep two pouches of ash - one from the Eggshell and one from the pyre, and mix them together when you want to heal a large number of grievous wounds. There will only be enough to mix once or twice, I expect."

"Heart, I will allow you to take this Moltres Egg. I cannot give it to you - you must find a way to fetch it from its pyre, as a test of your skill and passion. Regardless, you will Pledge to love and protect it and the creature it gives rise to. You will Pledge to do everything in your power to see Moltres ascend to fulfill its sacred destiny. You will Pledge to put the needs of Moltres ahead of your own needs, whatever sacrifice is necessary. Do you understand? Do you Pledge?"

(In this case Iron, I would like to know if I could get too Fire Punch, Blast Burn and Flamethrower. If not possible take those three, I take Blast Burn)

Heart noted the names of the plants Arcanine mentioned in his notes. "Understood. I think I may find at least half of those plants in our travels since we travel in forests quite a lot."

Heart takes notes in tip of Arcanine. "Thank you. I will in mind when the time comes. Such medicine will of cccour save our life's one day for certain."

Heart look the pyre in the middle of the lava. She feel some fear, but also a lot of determination. He looks to Arcanine with fierce and determined eyes. "Understood! One question though: I need take alone the egg of Moltres, or I could ask one of my pokPoke friends to lend a hand?"

"I Pledge Lord Arcanine. I will protect and love him as much I love my own pokemon and family and do everything in my power to ensure he fuffill his destiny and put his needs ahead of mine. May I get burned and Cursed if I broke such oath."
