Back on the topic of Juni, though, any opinions on whether we should tell the truth about what happened or try to concoct a story instead, Windos?  And anyone else who has any ideas.


Back off topic, if I'm not responding as quickly as usual today, it's probably because I'm playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!  Everyone is dead here!  Woo hoo!  Or, they will be when I eventually unlock all of the characters...

If we fabricate a story, then we'd have to find a way to rationalize how the hecky we managed to find two people that had been declared missing/gone underground (Thrawn and Juni), get Bill and most likely Dagney on board and help us, and generally speaking make the story in such a way the group doesn't get called out for any inconsistencies and gets slammed with purgery/subterfuge charges and/or Juni getting to walk because the group become flaky as baklava. In other words, making up a cover story is going to be a big old mess that could collaspe on us at anytime if we are not utterly RIGOROUS and comprehensive in building it.

Frankly, I find that to be MUCH too busy work and risky (As making a GREAT cover story falls to us OOC, and the consequence are severe IC if we balls it up), so I say we just tell the truth about the whole matter. Get Bill to back the group up,  maybe waggle the Moltres Egg/Bring up Celebi's involvement (When in doubt, its a Legendary's fault/blessing!) and Hilda around (Since they've been time traveling and not, they can act as a credible witness to our groups escapades) for more credibility, then have Dagney and Thrawn handle the whole management aspect of the case while the group turns over most of the Scimitar related tech and info to them (The Drives and at least one Gauntlet should stay with the group, along with any cloaks we managed to flinch) to start chipping away at them. 

In the meantime, the group continue to explore the region after offering their single story to authorities, foiling Scims and Shady Almanac business whenever they can + reporting/keeping anything they get from them, and we simply continue our quest in the meantime until Plot Happens! or we decide to go hunting for Treasures, such as the HMs, or other Legends/Artifacts to support our cause. Either that, or we can totally shift gears and focus on really cracking down on the Scimitars and Almanac until they are no longer a concern, then go back to regular questing/saving the region.

That's my take on things: Come clean or mostly clean (We could always say Bill accidentally/purposely sent us through time with his experimental tech, if we don't want to rely on saying 'Celebi caused it to happen!' ), and then just let Thrawn + Dagney/any other credible high ranking authority figure we have friendly relations with to handle the legal mumbo jumbo while the group can just continue their own business ASAP. Its simple, clean, and effective.......hopefully.
