Shiranui probably be a bit skeptical of sparing with a Dark type or becoming friends with one (given their propensity for trickery or brutality), but with Pangoro I think he'd be happy to duke it out with them so long as thing remained fair. The panda protector has a more Anti Heroic personality that straight up Evil or mischevious/diabolical, so while the sumo wrestler might object to some of their extremes he'd be able to relate with and get along with their common desire to be defenders and superior Fighting warriors. 

Of course, given Pangoro is a Dark type, and sort of match between them and Shiranui would probably result in them getting Arm Thrusted into oblivion, so the martial monster would have to hold back a bit to make things not horribly lopsided, which might offend/piss off the Endangering Species...

Ahh my dear, not all Dark Types are straight up evil or diabolical, Yena's rather kind and compassionate towards me I feel!~But, yes, I get what you mean concerning a tendency of members of this Type leaning towards acting mischievous and mean, probably even more 'openly mischievous and sly' than Fairies who are more 'mischievous and sly on the second look'. I like Pangoro being described with a personality of an Anti-hero, sounds fitting!

Humm, maybe it doesn't sound like the best idea to have Shiranui and the panda spar if the former has to hold back or such, but I'd still like to have them maybe meet at some point just to see how they'd react to each other - I'd leave that to Iron to come up with at least from my panda's viewpoint. No hurry in that though!
