All of that sounds pretty interesting actually! Though now I need to ask something additionally in order to plan accordingly: The Volunteering will take up the whole day, correct? I'll probably get to do that during in-game tomorrow's Safari Cup in combination with foraging plants/berries and spend remaining today's Encounters exploring the Levels of the Zone on my own to get used to the terrain already. Sounds good?
The Volunteering takes as long as the event you're volunteering for. If you help with the Cup, that's 24 hours + tournament time, so like 27 hours. Obviously you get breaks for eating and sleeping.
