"...well, I see you two have introduced yourselves to each other already.  Can't say I was expecting you so soon after I finally managed to get your number, Taylor.  When did you get a phone, anyways?  I thought you preferred to not use the damn things.  Your words, not mine.  And you look like you've been through hell and back, too.  Bet that's got a real good story behind it."

Reiner's got his arms crossed and is simply standing by the door for the time being, looking expectant.  He's waiting to see how Taylor reacts, waiting to see if any explanations might be forthcoming.

The foxy woman perked up at her mention, but she deflated a bit and started looking a bit nervous herself when you brought up the conversation.

"Yes, we have! We were just talking about.....stuff to pass the time, until you arrived. Isn't that right, Taylor?"

"Uh.....yeah, that's about right. Nothing much to add about that, really."

Hmm.....suspicious.

Your former? partner continued to smile Mareepishly initially, until you started questioning her, at which point she starting cringing.

"Yeouch. Frosty reception. Cold, piercing, and straight to the point, like Pyrce himself too. You're....not gonna cut me any slack, aren't you?"
