"Right. ONLY the Pokemon you catch during the tournament. I guess you'd need to catch at least 1 Pokemon. More will increase your chances. You can only bring six with you at any time, but you have PC access and you can use items in between battles to heal your Pokemon. Revives are pretty important if you have a smaller team. Nurse Joy can heal small cuts and bruises without any items (she can heal up to -2 pain instantly without any items being necessary). You only get about 2 hours between battles, not much time to rest up. People have won in the past with a team of like 8 Beautifuly with Giga Drain."

"...so catch as many as possible, look for pokemon with healing moves if possible, and don't neglect your own healing resources in between battles, particularly if you only managed to catch a few pokemon...whew, this sounds like it's going to be rough...thanks for the tips, man.  Really appreciate it.  Think I might see you in the safari and/or tournament tomorrow?"
